3 needle-nose tool? for 6400/01? freehub

Attempting to break down the freehub.

After removing the axle and looking down the freehub, I can see the large ten ball bearings.
On the outside of here and slightly higher there is a ring shape with three small pinhole size holes spread like three points of a triangle.

RJ The Bike Guy has a freehub overhaul vid where he uses a homemade 2-hole tool to unwind a similar position ring.

Mine is definitely a 3-point/hole.
Any ideas what tool would be used for removal?

Are you looking at the dust cover? I think you just use a hex key and remove the fixing bolt. Then pull on the free hub body and it should be off.

Shimano FH-6400 or FH-6401? Or is this some other brand since you said it was 6400/01?

A pic will help us know what you are seeing.

Found the SI's..

FH-6401 https://si.shimano.com/en/pdfs/si/T-...000-00-ENG.pdf

FH-6400 -7 and -6 https://si.shimano.com/en/pdfs/si/R-...000-00-ENG.pdf

If you're really inclined to disassemble the freehub you could make a tool like RJ but with 3 prongs.
