Pinarello steerer length
I have a Pinarello Montello I am rebuilding. I don't have a fork currently. The head tube is 190 mm long. How long do I need the steerer to be? (Minimum)

I have an old campy record and also an FSA Duron. Is there a way to measure the minimum by the stack of the headset + steerer tube?

The old steel Record headset needs 39mm of stack. The FSA Duron needs 40.6mm. Those distances represent the length of the head tube (190mm according to your original post) subtracted from the length of the steer tube measured from the crown race seat to the top of the threads. You will not be able to use any headset whose stack height is greater than that measurement; if the headset's stack height is less than the difference in length between the head tube and steer tube, you can make up the difference with spacers or trim the steer tube to fit.
