Late to the game as always. Outside of C&V I have two main occupiers of my time:
1965 Ford Falcon (bought back in 2016 after selling it in 1988). Due to schedule I took it to two shows in 2019 and received two first place plaques. One was at the national Falcon Club of America show in Winter Park, CO. It's humbling - especially because I didn't do any of the restoration work. The rebuilt motor from this last year will need to stretch it's legs. Light car and some power makes for lots of grins. I'm also president of the Inland Northwest Falcons chapter of the Falcon Club of America.
The remainder of the time is spent chasing this girl and helping her achieve her dream of playing college softball. She's a workout machine and I have been spending 2-4 days a week since the end of August helping her make the transition to the left side of the plate. She's hit right handed the past 6 years. I couldn't have made that transition when I was in high school - but she's got a whole lot more skill than me.

I'm always looking out for cool stuff, vintage audio, Mexican silver, 12" and 7" vinyl, fossils and gems, etc. I don't normally buy baseball cards, but recently scored a "vendor pack" of 1986 Topps baseball cards and everything inside is in mint-or-better shape. Not a damn clue what to do with it though.
Potato quality pics, for sure, lighting in my living room is great for mood, sucks for pics. Not the most sought after year, but in current condition, probably $600 - 1,500 (or better) between a dozen cards in here if professionally graded at 9 or 10.

These guys. Nina and Andy. Three surgeries in 2019. Andy had emergency surgery for an intestinal blockage twice (a giant acorn, both times) and Nina had a mast cell tumor removed behind her left ear. All is well now, though. Fingers crossed.

Still learning
What to do with Reclaimed garage space.
The 2020 spring and summer bike shortage enabled a chance to clear out a garage and some basement space. My girlfriend has forgotten how much time I put into refurbishing and marketing, begging me to finish various home improvment projects like the kitchen.
I have been planning to get Euro delivery on below since a year ago, but Covid-19 blew up that dream. Finally pulled the trigger in July, waited 4.5 months and picked it up today. 6 speed manual.😁. My next newest car is a 2003 MINi S.

My username is a bit of a giveaway I suppose, but I have a favorite brand. For a lot of years my garage would look like this. A few of these were long term residents, others came and went, but typically I had a few on hand ready to go and another two or three in the shop as projects.
I broke a couple decades of loyalty to the one brand though. A couple years back I bought an Aprilia I converted to a track bike, and this summer bought a flippin Moto Guzzi. Not sure what got into me on that one but there it is.

That first picture is a couple years old now and all but one of those bikes have been sold. I'm nearing retirement and have been getting rid of things, including bikes. I sometimes regret selling the yellow one (A 996 monoposto I bought new in 2000) but otherwise I don't miss keeping multiple bikes maintained and registered/insured. The cost per mile each year of some of those bikes was ridiculous since they didn't get ridden much. That said, if I were single a couple of those bikes would be on display in my house. But I'm not so they aren't.
The only running bikes I have now are the 851, the Guzzi, and the Aprilia. The 851 needs work before it gets ridden again and the Aprilia will be for sale in the spring. I do still have a couple Ducati project bikes stashed away. Single cylinder, older stuff (1960s) I really should get back to work on.
EDIT: When I say project bikes, I mean rebuilds. I don't do restorations. Here are the two most recent bikes, before and after.
1966 Ducati Monza Jr.
1974 Ducti 750 GT
I sold the 160 when I realized I was never going to do any moto giro events on it and it was NOT a great real world bike. I sold the 75o when I started thinkng amore abotu what I could do with the money if I sold it than how much fun it was to ride. It helped a fund my 851 (a sentimental favorite) and a couple other things.

recently kayaking has been sucking up money......like bikes, started simply enough.....wanted to get back into it.
Found a used feathercraft folding kayak for a decent price.
but does it stop there? Nooooooooo!!!!
but that is just the start.....joined a club and paid my ACA dues. then realize need some safety stuff, float bags, paddle float, pump, light, etc. and of course a carbon paddle...and then realize that to kayak year round a drysuit is the thing, then realize my current booties are not big enough to go over dry suit and need something warm for my head...and then realize i need a new bag to put all this junk in..... I just did a custom frame worth of kayak stuff....what was I thinking

It is hard to believe that I have missed this thread entirely!
Part of the reason I am so slow on working on my bicycles is due to the other interests that grab me randomly.
This has be taking up my time and some money. It is 18 years old but in good condition with the need to replace a couple of parts on the mower deck. l had no clue how appealing this item is. Made cutting the grass enjoyable and opens up a new world of exploration as well as projects.

Another fun interest, at least it was for a number of years is realted to this, which I bought new in 1990. It has over 240k miles on it and runs about the same as new. Just lifted it. Still a project that needs some attention like paint and tires. It suffered child abuse, abuse by one of the children.

If you are looking for something that will consume and digest discretionary income, it's tough to beat a sailboat. I'm told powerboats are worse. We have, however, had so many wonderful experiences on this boat (and others that preceded it) that it still stands proud in the "good deal" category.

Harmonicas and the microphones and amplifiers to play them through. I have now acquired all but 3 of the 48 different tunings of my favorite maker (and built boxes and racks to hold them all on place and in order). 5 amps, 4 mics.
Now I have the harmonicas to play music other than the blues and country, Just have to learn how. (And finally learn the last two "positions" for regular harp blues.)

Most of my fun money goes to traveling, and I'm grateful for that since I met my wife during a trip to Turkey (she's from Moscow) and now I have a good excuse to go to Russia every year or two to visit extended family and see new things. Since we've begun settling into married life and working full-time I've bought a couple of neat little cars, but in January I'm returning to grad school with an online program at Johns Hopkins, so I'll be getting rid of this particular beauty... It's a wonderfully preserved 1996 Jaguar XJ6 that I obtained from the original owner last year. It was fun to drive around for a while!
