Let's see your saddle solution for comfort
I use Performance inner chamois, Hines seamless under garment and outer padded chamois Lycra tights. Works for leather, carbon, hard shell and soft shell saddles!

Riding more works for me. Either my saddle is getting broken in or my butt. I just figure it's a kind of a chicken or an egg problem.

I had to put a 4" strip of moleskin at the perineum of my Zoic Vim liner to stop my tweed breeks from chafing. 1991 Brooks Team Pro S (with about 250 miles on it).

Brooks B-17 Imperial, no padding, whatever shorts happen to be handy. Just rode 100 miles with that combo on Saturday...no pain (except in my legs and shoulders).

Koobi PRS Alpha Saddle and any shorts. I actually prefer my leggings which have no padding.

My solution has been mileage. The more I rode the more my sit bones became accustomed to the position. Any saddle with a center cut out and a lack of padding works for me. The only serious discomfort and physical problems I've had have come at the hands of very plush, padded saddles. Sit bones sink in and the rest of the padding pushes up on the taint... bad combination for anything more than a mile or so.

Long tours.. 1975 brooks team pro, ( Permeable and pliable) decent bike shorts.. clean skin*,
and shorts (toured with 3) faux chamois .
*Bedadyne , concentrated surgeon's scrub..
at home , my bike has a Fizik Vitesse saddle.. Bike Friday Tikit has a CP3 model on it..
Sweat pants [Polyester, fleece lined track suit ] give and flex better than denim ..
....

I've heard the Brooks story a hundred times. I'm still scared of them. I use an old Italia seat and Bellwether shorts. Both are about ready to be replaced though. OH and Chamois butter. I wouldn't ride more than five miles without it.

Still using a Terry Butterfly women's saddle. For shorts, I still have a Perfromance Elite bib, 2 old Giordana bibs and old Giordana short. I once passed a guy with this saddle:
I asked him about it and he loves it. He mentioned that he can ride 100+ miles without a problem. I didn't think about it, but wonder if the lack of a nose would force you to relearn some cornering technique.

Brooks B17 - on two bikes, commuter and gravel. The standard, since I'm a "sit up and beg" style rider, it hits my sitz bonz just about right
Brooks B17 Imperial - the one with the "cutout to protect my ...." Most comfortable out of the box, but also breaks down fastest.
@RHM special - Amazingly, it's as comfortable as my B17's, but the twice-thick leather gives me the confidence that it will last much longer than the original hide.
