Very nicely preserved and maintained Cinelli, well bought sir. I have read and seen pictures of the steel Cinelli stems at Classic Lightweight UK, Peter Underwood searched long for his that is pictured there. First alloy example I have any recollection about. Enjoy this beauty!

Whatever you did worked, at least in pics. I thought that started off as a cherry or burgundy and had years of gripping that made it the current color.

Amazing find! Here's how would I like to imagine the transaction:

elguicho: "Really nice bike, I LOVE it! I'd like to buy it. What'll it take?"

seller: "I dunno... Hundred bucks?"

elguicho: "OK."

I was not THAT lucky. They knew what they had and I paid a fair price but I did get lucky on the fact that it was really well preserved and that it was mi size.

I had a 73 Cinelli SC, had to sell it because I could not ride the bike, not my size

That is one nice bike, enjoy and ride safe!
