And here's my hybridized road friendly MTB. It's a 2003 Raleigh M60 Mountain Sport with a few upgraded bits.
The upgraded wheels are Deore LX hubs with Sun Rhyno rims.
I also upgraded the bottom bracket, cranks and pedals.
Street and light trail friendly tires.
Body Geometry saddle, adjustable Zoom stem and some type of riser bars.

My trek FX 7.2 i know the components are not top drawer, but I do like this bike. Its faster than my old Marin Larkspur which was great in its day but i rode the heck out of that thing.
I'm new to this forum, been enjoying the pics and comments.

22.5"
I'm 6'2, 225# with a 34" jeans inseam and I'm longer in the legs than in the trunk. The 21" frame just felt a little cramped for my legs when I test rode it. I opted for the larger sized frame and installed a 20mm shorter head at the time of purchase to make my reach a little shorter. It feels pretty good for me now sans the saddle. The stock saddle is a medieval torture device! I'm on the hunt for something with a little more padding on it and then I'll be perfectly happy with my bike.

Few photos of my 25 mile ride on My 2015 Specialized Crosstrail Expert Disc around Chatfield Resevoir just south of Denver yesterday. This was before all the mud. Cant ride this bike enough! Such an amazing machine!
All photos taken with the HITCASE for my iPhone 5S. if you have not checked out a Hitcase for your iPhone you have to! Waterproof, life proof phone case with interchangeable lenses. These are taken with the wide angle lense. Waterproof iPhone 6, iPhone 5 Case-Shockproof, Mountable Anywhere - Hitcase. So awesome!

However their Fastroad Range is going some way to changing that view.
From my perspective, I would like to see a new frame design and colour approach from Giant with their Roam range.

Hi, the brand is '13', the model is 'Implicit alpha'
It's from a new line of bikes in the UK, created exclusively for one of the major car parts/bike distributors over here by the name of 'Halfords' - I've no idea if they sell them outside of the UK.. Price / Spec-wise they're very similar to another of our brands (Chris Boardman).
13 bikes
Halfords is a national chain with an outlet in almost every town/city you tend to get a lot for your money as they can obviously bulk-buy their components and pass on the savings. ....on the flip side a lot of people bemoan 'Halfords' as death of the local bike shop.
The worst part of the chain is that all the bikes (including the premium brands) are set up by non-qualified staff so it's hit and miss whether the person is 16 years old and actually knows what they're doing......I opted to receive mine boxed and did it myself for peace of mind.

Posting some more recent shots of my budget bike, now sporting NOS Scott AT-2 ltw handlebars w/ foam grips. These are if I recall 270grams, super light and shaved quite a bit of weight off the front end vs. the stock steel bar/grips combo I had. Handlebar is 23" wide, same as the original flat bar. Could be a bit narrower - 20/21" to be ideal for me but I got this bar on Ebay for a steal I think. Pics were taken during winter, hence the trainer. I've also upgraded to clipless, Shimano SPD pedals/shoes which I'm starting to enjoy quite a bit and now realize what all the fuss has been about w/ them.

My new Trek FX 7.2 that I have purchased about a month ago. Only added a back rack, saddle bag and the bottle cage. I have only put about 70 miles on it since this is the first time I have been back on my bike after 10 years. Totally enjoyed the freedom that the bicycle gave me. Can't believe how much I miss riding a bicycle! Working to get into shape first and then commuting to work.
