Overlooking the Atlantic Ocean from the Great Dune in Cape Henlopen State Park. Temps in the low 70's today. Not bad for November!

From last month's ride on the Lehigh Gorge Trail between Jim Thorpe and White Haven, PA. About 8 miles is rails-with-trails.

Really enjoying seeing all the cycling pics!
These are from a ride from the port of Rosas, Spain. Was on a cruise and hadn't ridden for several days, so I jumped at the opportunity to grab one of the cruise line bikes and take off into the hills. Took 7km of climbing to get out of the small chain ring but it was worth every second. Pardon the big head

A pix from the Nosco Ride a couple of weekends ago. This is the Deer Creek climb ... probably all burned up now.

Deer is steep (~13%) but not as steep as it appears in the pix.

PS: That's me in front ... but I wasn't in front when we got to the top. lol

I love that shot!

Here's a view of Lake Ashi in the volcanic Hakone mountains in Japan, with a snow-capped Mt Fuji in the back:

@Biker395, is that you in the RH+ jersey?

Can you say what model it is, your impressions on how it is constructed and quality, and how you like it?

Nah ... that's not me. That's my goombadi Willy. He did mention that he really like the jersey though. It was a bit chilly outside for my taste, but he was warm.

Why was the section closed? Is this a seasonal thing?

In this case it had been closed due to rock coming loose on the ceiling of the Tanbark Ridge tunnel just north of Asheville. I was expecting it to be closed to hikers and cyclists but they had completed the work and opened the Parkway by the time I got back down to the gate. However, that section up to Mt. Mitchell is frequently closed due to ice and snow during the winter but will re-open during warm spells.

That sir ... with your son peeking over your shoulder ... is a great picture. My kiddo is a lot older and about to head to college, but it reminded me of his first ride. The picture is scanned and blurry, but you can still see what my Dad used to call the "****e eating grin" on his face.

Since then I've talked him into doing a couple of centuries with me.
