Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

If you've both got Garmins, you could get an ANT+ controlled light. Of course, I don't have a Garmin so I don't know how convenient it is to get to the light controls...

15 needs to get past the nerves. Trenches are going to be brutal in this game.

We do, but I wouldn't want her looking for it with her eyes (her vision is rather south of great). Ideal would be something like Di2 sprinter switches where she could just tap one side for faster and the other for slower, and 10m range or so.

They can't hand over a stack of touchdowns to start the game, especially not after the Niners deferred.

Side note from after my ride today:

Holy cow my joints are not happy. Wrists and ankles in particular. Cracking and popping and hurting is not a fun thing. I don't think that arthritis runs in my family (or if it's even a genetic thing), but I will be very surprised if I don't develop it later in life

My wife is watching some incomprehensible and incredibly slow-moving, yet violent, sporting event on television. I think I’ll go clean a drivetrain.

I thought all the hoopla this week was for the Worlds CX championships this morning. I now know there’s some other event going on.

Yeah, I've been trying (a little) to do push ups the last month and my elbows are my limiting factor. Sigh.

Motorcyclists have headsets with speakers. They could possibly be modified

Wow, no. Streaming. Especially with my opinion of the couch-jumper.

And I say this as someone who was so influenced by the original that Ace Combat 6 alone justified the retention of an Xbox360, and I waited years for AC7 and when the trailers came played them until I could recite them.

But I can only see this being a disappointment.
