quick question, best place to find spokes?
I want to start my wheel building process by trying to lace a fixed gear hub onto a 27-in araya rim that I took off of a Schwinn world sport. My intention is to eventually be able to convert some of the older 10 speeds I find to fix gears without having to buy new wheels. But, anyway, I wanted to know if there's a good place to get spokes? I checked a few sites and found 34 sapim straight gauge 2mm for about a $1.50 each with shipping. Wondering if this is the best I'm going to do.
I hope this isn't violating any rules but if it's not kosher to recommend shops or sites in these forums then maybe someone could just pm me?

I can provide silver Sapim Race (double butted 2.0/1.8/2.0 ) custom cut to your specs for $1.20 Canadian apiece plus shipping.
The Canadian dollar is currently running about 80 cents so that works out to 96 cents US. Expect postage to run about $25 US.
Same spokes in black are $1.80 CDN.

https://www.bikehubstore.com has lower prices than that. Leaders are .75/ea and their shipping is pretty sane, and free over $100. I've been using their industry facing distribution business (bikewheelparts.com) a fair amount recently. They're legit and pretty easy to deal with, though they've been kinda overwhelmed recently. Still have a ton of options that I can't find anywhere else right now.

Rose Bikes has about the best price on DT Swiss around. Champions cost less than $5 per 20 or about 25¢ each. Shipping is about $12 per order which still puts them at less than wholesale in the US. The more you order, the less impact shipping has.
