i am really liking the Timberwolf from Giro. I think it would be a great replacement to my 661 Dirt lid @02Giant how do you like the helmet?

My POC Tectal is on the big side, and the sizing dial has a LOT of range. So I can dial it in for anything from bare-headed to a two-layer "Andes" cap. In between, I can choose between a balaclava, headband, thin-ish toque or bandana. So it's my all-season bucket; lots of coverage, and the day-glo pink is visible from the space station.
It has no provision for mounting lights (another nice winter feature option), but I've adapted, with creative use of an old busted forehead light and zip-ties.

The One
[QUOTE=DrIsotope;20641099]Get yourself a Bolle The One Premium. Comes with a winter liner and pop-in shells to cover the vents. It's solitary drawback is that it's not super light. I still love mine, and wear it for cold/rainy rides.[/QUOTE
I just received a Bolle The One Premium last week. I am not too keen on the liner. I have alternatives that are less bulky and do what I need them to do. The vent covers are a definite plus. They make a real difference riding in cold wind. Overall very pleased with it. It was on sale at Sierra Trading Post.
