NAHBS Eye Candy Photo Thread DANGER DANGER
Let us start off with the work of a young, 20 year old builder, Herbie Helm. Never heard of him, but this work is great, and he's a modest fellow who wants to teach High School shop. Wish I had a teacher like this in High School:

Do the photos indicate that the bike isn't really made with lugs? That the lugs are "simulated" or do they have extra brazing material to create a morw "radiused" junction on the lugs?

Wow, the DiNucci is gorgeous! The others are too flashy for me, but they'll be a hit with pimps. 
Edit - went back to the top, the white/silver paint and box lining are really nice, but the lugs are absurd...

Look at the seat post, just below the seat, last photo (and second). Looks like an expanding wedge post to me.

After the Helm and the DiNucci, I'm glad to see that Llewellyn's seatpost ends where it should. The extended-past-the-lug-look simply looks as if the builder got lazy and finished the tube wherever it happened to end up after tacking it into the BB.

Whats the top braze on above the seat stay/seat tube/top tube lug on the Herbie Helm? The bottom one looks like a spout for internally routed center pulls?

That's something. Curiously though - that's not a period-correct job though, is it? FD braze on and fade scheme call out '80s, though - if I'm not mistaken, and correct me if I am not - the decal scheme is mid '70s, no?

I met Charles and his wife (he's pretty quiet, but she's more outgoing) at the last San Jose show, when he was just starting out (I overheard him talking to a graphics guy about ideas and prices for decals.). There is something simple and understated about his work that I think is gorgeous.
But anything you share with us is very much appreciated.

Yah - and the wiseguy move w/grenade wired to the frame says ... gangsta bikes. Anyone think that the Helm won't be mounted on someones' wall? Unbelievable finishing, waaaaaaayy beyond flamboyant styling on it.
