Had some time left before I HAD to be back home so I kept on pedaling for 112 miles total.

Rained out again yesterday, but we had some nice weather again this morning which made for an excellent 41 mile ride. I signed up for the Cross Florida ride again so I need to start picking up my game since I have been sliding downhill a bit lately.

I now have both of my new wheels mounted on my 2016 Specialized Sirrus Sport Disk. I am not an experienced enough rider to discern a lot of difference but, just for curiosity I rode exactly the same route as yesterday to see, am I faster on new wheels? I was able to ride the route about .5 mph faster than yesterday.
Fitness over 50 continues.

Took the day off from biking to work (drove instead) but got out for an 8 mile ride in the evening.

Couldn't ride in heavy rains yesterday, and waited until well after 6:00 PM for things to clear out a bit (or lose a second day of riding). Still managed 36 miles in soggy conditions, and I can salvage a solid week if get 100 in tomorrow and Saturday.

It looks like I'm going with the Specialized Roubaix Expert (58cm) as my next endurance bike. I contemplated the S Works with Di2, but wasn't crazy about the color scheme, and I won't know the difference in ride quality of Factory 10r versus 11r carbon anyway (my LBS guy in VA in his 20's rides 300 miles weekly and said he can't tell). November rollout, so gotta kill the mileage on the Domane before it becomes second fiddle. Best bike I've owned so far!

Just getting started biking for the first time in... decades. I'm starting off by riding around around my neighborhood, about 1.5 miles in the morning &, when I can, in the evening. I'm very out of shape, underwent bypass surgery a few years ago, and finally decided to do something to at least get in halfway decent shape. There are some bike paths in the area that I'll work up to.

You're off to a good start. When I resuming cycling in 2015 after more than 30 years away I could manage a mile or two at a time with rest breaks every few hundred yards. Took awhile to get back into shape but I'm enjoying it.

16 miles after midnight in the wee hours of Friday morning. Legs were still sore from Monday's interval sprints so I figured best thing was to get back on the bike for a casual cruise around the neighborhood. Felt better afterward.

Since I started commuting to work a couple of months ago, today was the first time I got wet! Started sprinkling about a mile from the house, and kept at it the rest of the 11 mile commute. Fortunately, due in large part to perusing this forum the last few months, I was prepared! Stopped at my halfway point, got out my $2 Walmart poncho, and was dry-ish when I got to work! Cycling is awesome!

30 miles on the rural roller coaster route. Finally broke that elusive 16 mph average barrier. Not fast, really. My best effort on any Strava segment is always right at half that of the fastest riders. But it's faster for me. And that's good enough. Encourages me that I'm making a little progress. And it makes the leisurely rides easier and more enjoyable.

It depends on which group you ride in. It could be 210 or 230 miles. The slower groups do the 210 miles and the faster ones do the 230 so they don't have to wait so long for the slower groups to come in at the end of the day. The ride is split over 2 1/2 days of riding.

Nice 52 mile ride with three of my riding buddies today. I thought that last nights rain would cool things down some, but it just did the opposite. Very hot and very humid.

27.4 miles (44.1k). Heavy 10min rain yesterday late afternoon so quite humid today (yeah, I know, Floridians would call this dry). Some high overcast so it was quite a bit cooler than yesterday's 101°.

15.6 miles today. The air quality is very bad here due to hot temps and a large fire north of us in British Columbia.

Not a great start as I accidentally ran over my prescription riding sunglasses this AM. It was cloudy all day, but of course the sun came out for my 5:30 PM ride. And there were a gazillion bugs waiting for me on the 42 mile trek, but I killed it. At the mall now, you wouldn't believe what a decent pair of Oakleys cost! Whatever happened to Foster Grant?

If you haven't purchased them yet, look into Tifosi eye ware. Excellent glasses at half the cost. I have their transition glasses and love them. Don't have to change lenses for different lighting conditions. I've had mine for about 4 years and they still transition very fast.

Today's 42 mile, solo ride was brutally hot. Felt like I was riding in a furnace. It wasn't going to be a solo ride but one of my buddy's tubeless tire got a flat and we couldn't get it sealed, so he took it to the bike shop. There's just something to be said about tubes.

35 miles with the club, and an additional 15 hard miles with two warriors. We pushed hard on back roads and had a blast! Not overly hot, but through the roof humidity. This makes 260 miles for the week, and I still have tomorrow!

But hard riding comes at a cost. I went to the Trek dealer to replace several bolts, and he found cracks and fizzures along the centerline of both rims. They're the original Bontrager aluminums. Glad he caught it! So I ordered new wheel sets (Bontrager Aura 5 TLRs) from the dealer.

Between sunglasses and bike accessories, it's been an eventful and expensive week! Oh well.

26.2 miles (42.2k).I didn't quite have enough energy for the round trip to Mayberry Park but I did ride to Idlewild Park past downtown and had a flat (the rear, of course). I haven't checked the tube yet so it might be a puncture, but when wrapping up the flatted tube I noticed I had forgotten to close the Presta valve (sheepish grin). These Specialized Turbo Pro tires are a whole lot easier to work with than the Conti GP4s.

21.8 miles in light winds, mainly sunny, high 70s/low 80s weather. No energy, lots of chafing.

I don't do Strava, but one July day in 1989, my time was the same as LeMond's. My distance was almost half of his. I was satisfied.

48 Miles, with 10 miles of moderate to steep incline, then fast ride on the way back down. Had lots of smoke from forest fires and couldn't ride last two days, today was much better.

Storm blew through earlier than forecast so I was able to swap my Zwift ride for a 50 miler on the road. Windy but I'll take that over the road to nowhere any day. At this point I'm enjoying every ride I get in as I'm scheduled for a knee replacement on Sept 7th.It just took the better part of a year to fully recover from surgery to repair a mal-union of a pelvic fracture and a revision of a hip replacement so here I go again.
At this point there's no such thing as a bad ride.
