Post Your Black Friday Deals

I know we have a deals thread on the Road forum but not everyone goes there, so thunked it would be good it to have deals front and center for everyone to see (unless they aren’t generalists, then too bad, so sad.)

I certainly would take advantage of any screaming deals, so please post if you found one.

My contribution is 20% off on Voler apparel and stuff: I bought a warm vest: https://store.voler.com/pages/black-...4-ae0236730a50

DeFeet has a 30% off sale with code 23DFTBF30.

I love their Wollie Boolie socks and gloves for cold weather, but I already have plenty of those. I picked up a couple more base layers.

Pactimo's Black Friday sale is up to 65% off.

I ordered a short sleeved jersey and bibs. Saved an additional 10% with code FAST10.

Black friday is the worst day of the year to go shopping. Just stay home and relax.

What is this "go shopping" you speak of? News flash: here in the 21st century, you can buy stuff without even putting on pants or leaving your basement.

Dont be grumpy just because your Thanksgiving was last month.

Imagine a world where you can stay home and relax AND shop.

People still put on pants? Now cycling shorts/bibs are all together a different story.

If there is a cycling site that isn't advertising a discount right now, that company's marketing manager needs to be canned right away.
Brands have been discounting most everything for months now because of a mix of excess inventory and reduced disposable spending. And discounts will continue on into the new year for a ton of brands- bikes and accessories.

Jenson has some Shimano Di2 complete group sets on sale at 40% off, or more. Ultegra 8100 @ $1,600, GRX 800 2x11 $1,350, GRX 800 1x11 @ $1,250. But I don't think you get a choice on crank length. I think the Ultegra is 172.5 mm (good for many folks), but both GRX are for 175 mm only. still a good deal, even if you don't use the cranks.

My local Jax Bicycles, with 10 stores in the socal area (all Trek Concept), has a plethora of bikes at 2 for 1. My wife and I are fighting back the urge to purchase two Top Fuel 9.8 GX ASX for $7200. YIKES, this would be n+1 insanity.

Ali has $1.79 sale for cheap knickknacks useful for bike flips. Or, if you want to update your sock drawer, how about 20 pairs of low cut socks for $1.79? 😂

Yes it's 21st century and i still haven't done any online shopping. I prefer to shop in the actual store. I need to see and feel something before I buy it.

So why did you even bother to visit and comment on a thread named "Post Your Black Friday Deals" ?

Only downside is when to stop. I've got the cart at target loaded with Lego for the kids and I'm just trying to decide if there's anything I want that I can slip past the wife but I'm thinking I've pushed my luck enough. Especially since she doesn't know about the two AT ST walkers and storm troopers that are arriving today to assault the lego christmas village. She just thought it was cute when I staged some rebel troopers of the roofs.

How about some 11spd SRAM chains for 10.95US + free shipping? Not necessarily a Black Fri special.
