it's for a team of 9, from one of the most stoner-rific schools in the nation. i just don't want to forget anything. i know that everyone is going to forget at least one thing, so i want to make sure i have spares.
don't want a repeat of mountain bike season, where one kid didn't realize you needed a helmet to race, and so i had to rent one from the shop for him, then hand deliver it up the ski lift to him at the top of the mountain.

Dont think I saw towels (for drying off post race) and Beer.
As for mini tool/ tire levers/ chain tool on bike in pockets, you're not going to do that in 95%.
Perhaps in a long road race without team support (i.e. Everest Challenge or the like) tools to change a flat wouldn't be a bad idea. But most races people don't carry tools.

For that crowd, I'd add in a couple chains and some ad-hoc cheapo road rash kits (panty-hose, neosporin, depends, etc).
A couple boxes of Oreos (from Sam's club) if anyone like me is along. Pancake mix, eggs, and an electric griddle (beer-batter). Some cheap summer sausage.

I usually pack my air rifle and hatchet. Makes for a good time if you're camping. Particularly in conjunction with the aforementioned BEER.

You have too wide of a range of clothing in there. I think you need separate lists for seasons/conditions. e.g. "If wet: " and "if cold: ". You had 4 sets of gloves! And why 2 pair of shoes?

lol "homework"
Rubbing alcohol for cleaning off grit and heat rub.
More than a few plastic bags for carrying gross dirty stuff, wet gear, etc, not just for feet.
Baby wipes for post race wipe down. Doesn't sting the privates like rubbing alcohol does.
No wind vests or other windproof stuff?
Duct tape. Just because. Actually it's great for taping numbers onto rainjackets. Also works if a shoe strap breaks, need to carry a gel on the top tube, frame numbers, etc. I have black, white, and red duct tape. Red because it's not black or white.
Tool kit, at least the major one, should be under "Team stuff". No need for everyone to bring the same tools.
Floor pump under "Team Stuff". Bring at least two or three, but you won't need nine. They should be different ages if they are the same make/model as hoses and gaskets age at about the same rate.
If you have or bring a generator and it's cold, see if you can't squeeze in a microwave. That's something I like to bring to the spring races I promote - it's usually 30-40 deg and there are no facilities or stores onsite.
You have pins for numbers but you can also use 3M Super77 adhesive. Glue your numbers on, wait till it get tacky else you'll ruin the jersey.
Camera. Camcorder. Camcorder is great to vid finishes, esp if the promoter's camera blows up (not unheard of). Both to show the rest of the school what you did last weekend. Also good if you're trying to protest results. "He said she said" doesn't go far but when you have a video, well, it's usually an easy protest.
Dropouts for those with replaceable dropouts (virtually everyone except those with steel frames).
Under "Team Stuff" do you have an EZ-Up tent? $500, if you have a big SUV or van or pickup, and it makes life nicer if it's raining or really sunny. They're 10'x10' or 10'x20'. We have two 10'x10'.
Isn't everyone online and connected? Cell phones, laptops, broadband cards, etc.
Radios. Use them in the race if it's legal. If it's not they make excellent caravan-ing tools. Cellphones too but radios are quicker when the lead car is about to pass the exit...
What a list.
If everyone has team kits, they should be labeled. "Yo, that's my jersey" "Eff you, this is mine" etc etc.
have fun and good luck at the races,
cdr

You need Sphincterine. Saved my (and my teammates') ass pre- and post-race many times. We even went after them as a sponsor. Unfortunately, they respectfully declined.

No dude, I'm serious The Depends are for road rash. Scrub with soapy rag like a maniac. Slather with Neosporin, a layer of Vaseline, cover with piece of Depends or a Maxi Pad, then pull panty hose over it to hold it in place. If you cut the hose so you don't have to wear the complete pair, treat the cut ends with clear nail polish so it doesn't unwind.
So, I guess you need to add Vaseline and clear nail polish...

have you been to a race where they ran out of TP? it's chaos.
as far as gloves, i always wear 1 pair of fingerless gloves. i also have a thin pair and a thick pair that i layer over top, just in case.
this weekend may be warm, wet, and cold, if we aren't lucky.
windproof stuff, duct tape, cellphones, and labeled clothes. thanks!
BTW, it"s actually a race WEEKEND list, so that"s why it"s a little crazy

trainer block, trainer skewers
beach towel for changing and lounging—I usually race with my girlfriend, which means we have to sit around a lot.
perhaps spare batteries for your sensors/computer

Depending on how cold it is where you ride, you might consider latex gloves. When it's cold, wet, and windy, nothing keeps your hands in working order. See pictures from the cold stage of the TDG last year for reference. You can also maintain your chain with them and keep hands clean.
