From just watching the video I think it is in KM and not miles. The rider hits 35 and watch the objects around him, there is no way that is 35 miles per hour. Even just tooling around at the end of the clip he does 5-7 and again looks like km.

BTW, I liked it in a cool I don't want or need it kind of way.

That's pretty cool.

Letting the cars behind you know how slow you're going? That could improve safety.

Letting the police behind you know you're breaking the speed limit? Not so cool.
