cycling navigation apps
Just wondering what navigation apps people are using and what you think of them. Google Maps, Ride with GPS, etc.
Also, does anyone have any experience with Selle Anatomica saddles?

I use both Google Maps and Ride with GPS.
I use Ride with GPS when I want to map a route for our cycling club, or a route that we might want to ride more than once, or one that is particularly complicated. I am getting better at Ride with GPS and learning the tips and tricks, but it can still be a hair-pulling exercise to create a route, and especially to change a route. But once it is finally created, it is fairly accurate.
I use Google Maps when I want to do something quick.
I will often use the two together when creating a route in Ride with GPS ... Google Maps to check the distance, the elevation profile, and street view quickly ... Ride with GPS to set it in stone once I've decided which way I want to go.

I use the Runtastic road cycling app and like it a lot. It's not as well known or as well used as Strava or Mapmyride, but it works well.

If I am in an unfamiliar area I use this thing known as a map. It is printed on a sheet of paper that I can carry in my pocket. When I ride in areas that I am familiar with I use my memory

I don't have a computer for realtime monitoring. Not against 'em, just haven't gotten one. Might do, tho'.
My Agu Qyoto handlebar bag has a nice map pocket Velcro'd on top of the lid. Handy for occasions when I do want to carry a large paper map. Can be handy sometimes.
Also, does anyone have any experience with Selle Anatomica saddles?

Another Cyclemeter user here. I've tried almost every popular and not so popular app for iPhone and Cyclemeter beat them all hands down. If you're a data and customization freak, there's nothing on the market that can touch it. Best part is that it's a yearly subscription for the Elite version vs monthly subscriptions for the other popular app. It will send your ride to Strava automatically at the end of each ride or share it with Facebook or other social media. It also has live tracking for when you want others to follow you on your rides. There's much more but it would take too long to type.

Your input was so very helpful, I always wondered why people think French Canadiens are jerks.

All I meant to convey is that apps are not always the best solution when you are riding your bike on unfamiliar roads. Sometimes the simplest solutions are still useful and often old fashioned maps are still better than an app that can lead you the wrong way.
I only tried to show that an app may not be the best solution
Sorry for being an ENGLISH Canadian jerk

Sometimes the best way to convey your opinion is to not be a jerk in the first place, sorry if I offended.

I understand you can build routes in Strava, but I've never tried. I just track the routes while I ride them with Strava.
