TREK plastic frame letters - where can I find some?
The vintage 1998 Trek Y11 recently picked up was resprayed (by the previous owner) in "Estoril Blue", and looks so much better than the original yellow and red.
BUT, he did mention the painter destroyed a couple of the "TREK" letters when removing them from the frame, and he never looked into getting new ones.
These are pretty big, plastic "chrome-effect" letters, like a head-tube badge - they're not just stickers - and I can't seem to find anything on eBay.
Has anyone got any idea where I might find some? Or is this the sort of thing that'd need to be made, which would be expensive and not worth it? This isn't a grail bike or anything special.
Thanks for any ideas!
