Oh, and Carlos, if you buy a pump to use this whatsit, do yourself a favour and put some velcro on to hold it in place. If not it will bounce off the frame after hitting a pothole, messing up the plastic bits that rest up against the frame, and/ or get run over by a car, damaging said pump.

If you buy a pump for that pump peg, frame fit pumps often come in a few different lengths, Zefals come in four lengths.

Your Fuji has a pretty long head tube, so I am guessing that the top tube length would call for a size 4 Zefal.
Agree that a velcro strap can help hold the pump in the frame.

However, a velcro strap will impede rapid deployment when encountering Italian race teams on the road. Too slow and you could wind up being the one sitting on your duff in the weeds.

Thanks Mr Honda twin. I actually would prefer to watch the whole thing sometime. For years I've been indoor trainer riding regularly, but last year hardly at all as I rode in the snow so much. Would be a good one if we go through a particularly rainy spell at times. Keep stuff in mind for this, will add this to list.

When I started to read your comment, my first thought was that the velco would delay deploying your pump to fend off a large dog. A friend of mine messed up his pump that way some years ago.

Velco strap on my daughter's LHT. Sometimes kids do learn by example
The velcro strap also doubles as a "parking brake". Locking one of the brakes is a good practice when securing your bike on ferries or trains.

I often put a 6 or 8 inch long piece of pipe insulation on my top tube, use the pump velcro to secure that too. If I have to lock the bike to a pole, the pipe insulation protects the top tube paint.

OR, use a 'spare' leather toe strap. Only for us old codgers, though... Doubles as a front wheel holder, parking brake, etc....

I bent a few Zefal HPs bashing bad doggie noggins when riding out west of Columbus in the '70s... That area is all built up now... (sad)...
