Can I use a a presta tubeless kit in Schrader rims
I recently pre-ordered the specialized Rockhopper 2021 which has Schrader valves, and I would like to convert it to tubeless as soon as I get it. Does anyone know if I can use a presta kit or if not, and if I can't how do I get Schrader valves? I've never done a tubeless conversion so Im new to this, any help is appreciated!

Schrader kits are available. I will guess it may be possible to use a presta adapter and presta kit, but will depend on if you can get an airtight seal around the adapter.

Are the rims tubeless ready? I honestly don't know how common schrader valve installations in tubeless ready rims are. For me personally, I will not mess around trying to set up tubeless if the rims are not tubeless or tubeless ready.

Spend a few hundred dollars more and get the Rockhopper that has presta value and tubeless ready rims.... and tires.

People have been converting wheels to tubeless for years even before there was such a thing as "tubeless ready."

OP: you can buy Schrader tubeless valves. In fact, I filed my Presta rims a bit larger to fit Shrader valves in for tubeless. It is just a hair size difference anyway.

What does the size of the hole have to do with it being TR? the TR-technology is in the rim/tire interface part of the rim.

Not directly on point, but following argues Schrader preferred for inflation and mechanical strength:
