Old? Continental Mountain King 29ers

Hi all,

i bought from REI used section two Continental Mountain King tires for a really good price....the website had a stock photo of the silver black and yellow logo....
but when arrived the logo was a silver / white....says made in Germany...but I can't find any info on these...they will take them back but I lose the ship I paid and have to pay for ship back to them....seems REI used is not REI...a different company as per REI store. Can't be returned to the store either.
Does anyone know more about these? Thanks Larry

Maybe just very old?
people who do fakes tend to be more accurate in copying the original

That's the mountain king 1. They are on version 3 now. That tire is probably 3-4 years old. Nothing wrong with it though. It still has the whiskers so it's brand new.

These are great tires.... I bought 10 of them about 4 years ago on super sale. I think they were $14.99 each. Still riding them to this day, putting on a new set every so often.
