Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Show Us Your BMC

Since I've noticed the trend here is to start one of these threads when you have a bike on order, I figured I'd be a lemming and do the same

Now show me your BMC while I anxiously wait for mine to arrive!

Just ordered my BMC from competitive cyclist, so I'm anxiously awaiting too.
Got the groupo and waiting on wheels.
Posting now to remember to post when frame arrives

I remember drooling over that BMC in the other "show your BMC" thread as well. That Pro Machine just looks dead sexy.

beautiful bikes, specially that pro machine! where do you get the water bottles?

and the other bmc thread is 2 years old, so i had 2 options, start a new one and be told to search, or bump the old one and be told to stop bumping old threads. 6 of one, half a dozen of the other. figured i'd start a new one since most people love to show their bikes off. sadly not many people ride bmc so the pics are few and far between. i guess thats also a good thing!

Ordered the Team Machine SLT 01 55cm frame.
Was seriously considering the full bike for 800 more and have a spare Force groupo/wheels lying around.
Then decided to exercise some financial caution.
I know I'm gonna regret it, when I want a 4th bike.

To the SLC01 owners how is the fork stiffness? I have my eye on one but I'm concerned the EC90 SLX has a reputation for being a little soft. I might move my SL over if I get one.

Streetfire with 2009 Rival
PowerTap Comp laced to a DT Swiss 1.1
Selle Italia Gel Flite Max
Look Keo Sprint

I love riding this bike. It tends to vanish from underneath me while riding, feels great.

old pic. I've since removed the wheel decals. I'll need to find a white garage to take a new pic.

several, in a matter of fact i cant find the darn camera to post the bike almost complete. The house scale showed up 16.2 pounds, w/o the chain. I assume there is an error so I'm thinking maybe in something around 17 pounds.
