Kush 2+ BB spindle stuck!

Hi all, I'm new in here and looking for a bit of BMX help, if possible.
I am looking to remove the BB and spindle so i can do a respray. But the spindle is stuck inside of the 2 large bearings pressed into the shell.

Ive seem some vids that suggest you just hammer it out, I have tried this but its stuck fast so not sure if its the right thing to do!

Any help is appreciated.

Id submit phots but cant until ive added 10 posts......

Cheers

I have had the same situation with a Felt I was working on. Spindle could not be pulled out.

first make sure you give both sides some thin lube. Let it sit for a bit. Then bring out the soft hammer. Gentle taps with increasing force should do the job.

Thinking for a second… make sure this spindle isn’t a one way exit model. Manufacturers descriptions should tell you.

aha the circlip

Cheers all. a bit of working through it and once all the grease and dirt was removed I found a circlip holding the non drive side bearing in place, once that was removed a light tap and all came out.

Problem solved. But this leads to another question the circlip has a rubber seal built it which is a bit perished any one know where i can locate one, I understand SALT is in-between UK distributors at the moment?

Cheers
