MagicShine/Geomangear Battery Question
This only indirectly relates to the infamous battery recall.
I purchased a MS900 from GMG a couple years ago. It came with a "rectangular" battery pack.
After a few months the battery died, and I wrote a note to GMG and they were kind enough to send a new battery pack to replace the one that died.
The second one seemed more secure, it was cylindrical and came in a little drawstring bag.
It is working fine.
Anyway the question is, does anyone know if the "defective" batteries were of the first type (which I trashed) or the second type (which I still have and am way too lazy to return, especially if that's not the one that is defective).
Anyone know??

There were "only" 2 or 3 fires, but since they decided not to replace the rectangles with the cylinders and the consultant thought both versions needed to be replaced, it prolly doesn't matter.
