Hello from Grapevine, Texas
I have been an mountain biker most of my life, with only one road bike. I have a newer Trek Superfly which is an awesome hardtail. Grapevine Lake is the premier mountain biking in North Texas. I am hoping to gain knowledge and maybe meet up with some bikers to go on new routes.

Welcome to Bikeforums. I am a roadie but have had mountain bikes in the past but Houston is pretty flat so I concentrate on the road. There is a lot of information flowing in the various forums. Enjoy the trails.

I just bought a new Apple 4 watch to keep track of my bike rides. Today's ride was 9.51 miles in 48 minutes with an elevation gain of 359 feet. Average speed of 11.7 mph. Talk about heart beat. I love Grapevine lake. I used to live in Houston...flat flat and more flat.
