GT Talera I.D. and info?

This is for sale locally. Can anyone I.D. it and give me some info? Thanks!

I'm looking for something to use as a rough road and gravel, weekend country touring rig. Thanks!

Entry level MTB from the mid 90s
Good daily casual rider but anything close to a Benjamin is too much

Thanks! It's an hour drive from me and the seller is unwilling to answer questions, she just says "I don't know anything about it, come look for yourself ". She is asking $125.

Sounds like I should skip it. Too bad, the geometry looks just right from that pic.

That looks like a great commuter.

I built it up as a winter commuter for a 26 miles round trip commute. I only used it for that purpose 3 times. only 2 times during the week. it was overkill. my 700c wheeled hybrid w/ 35mm studded tires was much better. I wold up putting smoother bmx tires on it & using it with my kids but never got into mountain biking. now I have a much newer mountain bike from the same brand which I've been using for actual mountain biking!
