East Coast Newbie

Hi, I'm nearly a 30-something former fat guy who has been riding an old bike with grip shifters for about two years. A friend had it in his garage and never rode it and gave it to me.

I love it! and am ready to upgrade to a road bike. I have dropped a few hints to "Santa." I am hoping he picks up on my subtle clues, like "I WANNA ROAD BIKE FOR CHRISTMAS!!!"
