New ride!
I was planning to post first pics in my Giant Escape thread, but that sprung a leak. I didn't buy the Escape. I went to pick it up today morning, and took it on a much longer ride. After half an hour of riding, my bum was sore, and my left elbow hurt. So I took it back, tried out a Specialized Sirrus (again) and a Cannondale Quick. The Sirrus felt right immediately, and half an hour later, I was still comfortable. The Quick didn't seem right at all - I felt really clumsy on it. So I am now the proud owner of a Specialized Sirrus I must say, the bike is less hybrid and more flat bar road bike.

Computer and bottle cage en route from Amazon. Rack next month I think - the MTX rack + bag system costs almost $80 so I'll push the purchase next month. Need to buy a compact pump - I don't have one yet. Will probably order one today.

Smart to give it a good test ride! For too many of us, "too soon old, too late smart".

I love my MTX EXP bag and Explorer rack. There's plenty of room on the expandable bags. Solid system.
