Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

There are actually very nice places in NJ, especially in the west central and northwest parts of the state. The last time I was riding in the latter a young bear cub ran across my path as I was heading back to my campsite after showering. And while it's slipped a few notches over recent years, Hunterdon County still makes the top 10 list of wealthiest counties in the entire country measured by median household income. Saw this bugger while riding there several years ago.

So...The office has banned communal candy dishes to help prevent the spread of the virus. Even wrapped candy is verboten.

Sad.

According to the map #Jadesfire posted, Central America is Covid19 free, including Yucatan, which is essentially Central America. And only 3 cases in Mexico. I have read of zero panic activities in country.

Wow! Some Facebook friends (and their friends) are freaking out. One of the former posted "Has anyone had the thought that testing kits might be slow to reach sanctuary cities?" Clearly speculating as to a possibility as no evidence of any such thing has been presented. One friend of hers responded in part "Indeed I have and I am sure its on purpose." Later she wrote "I am in full PTSD response because of this. So pissed and so scared."

I told her she needs to stop speculating and spreading unfounded fears.

This.

I'm having second thoughts myself about attending a basketball game this evening, but so long as no one sneezes near me I think I'll be alright.

The hefty charge is actually to get IN to NY. Getting out of Jersey is free if you go out the back side, into Pennsylvania.

Care less about the weather. I'd take a Nebraskan over a New Yorker or New Jerseyan, even with Big Red football.

Big Red football was a pita, but it's a lot less so now. Osborne left, and that made everything a bit better.

I've been to Nebraska. I don't think I'd want to be trapped there for 14 days either.

I don't mind visiting South Jersey. My sister used to have a place "down the shore".
