Is my blender powerful enough?
I'm trying to use a Osterizer 700 watt blender (advertised as 1000 watt) to mix some energy bars. It seems to have some problems. What's wrong?

Blenders are for smoothies...For making energy bars you need a food processor.

Yeah, I was shocked when I saw food processor in the directions. I think I may have burned the motor in my blender. Oops.
