Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Of course. When we bought ours, there were two of the fancy ones left over from the previous year. They gave us a big discount. Personally, I like the cup holders behind the console on the lower models. Or did that end in 2016? The one we had, briefly, which turned out to be stolen was a '16

Are you on a plane? Do you listen to controllers during your leisure time?

99% of what "makes" the car is on the base model in my opinion. The rest is eye candy and I'm a blind diabetic.

During an earthquake, a plane is where I think I'd rather be. Of course, an intact runway when it's done would be nice too.

Awesome - good to know. We've kind of wanted to get down to VA Beach, but we haven't found a proper excuse, yet, but this and a garden (for the wife) or a brewery (the me ) might do it.

We have had parrots in the yard for the past two weeks. Or perhaps they are just passing through every morning. I hear them but haven't bothered to get up and look for them. In Belize they were as common as blue jays in Ohio.

I thought about doing a longer ride today, but it's a warm Autumn August day, with minimal clouds, so maybe not.

Without a seat? How? Hold on to the wheel, support yourself with one leg on what little foothold you have and use the other for the pedals?

What did those chassis become later in life?
