Hello,
I’m Paul - I am an older rider but that doesn’t mean much to me. Just that went VW suffered more abuse. My ride is an older Trek 930 - the green/purple fade. Truly I haven been off-road much lately. My wife s not a bike rider but she likes the Farmington Canal Trail - so we do a lot of flat, paved riding.
Now that my shiftgrips have been been replaced I expect to do more singletrack.
Most forums expect new members to supply a joke. I’m poor at remembering them but I drive a Nissan Frontier. The joke? The truck’s defroster.
I know - it’s not funny!

Welcome Paul from a fellow Farmington Canal rider. I ride the Southington-Hamden section a few times a month, doing Farmington to Westfield, MA today. Hopefully the two parts will be linked in the near future.
