Google "Ask the doctor: Biking and the prostate" to get a link around the paywall. (For completeness, this link takes you to a paywall: https://www.health.harvard.edu/mens-...d-the-prostate)
Even though six years old, this remains the definitive pull quote for lay people:
"However, there does not appear to be any solid evidence that bicycling worsens the symptoms of an enlarged prostate, such as urinary frequency or urgency. In addition, bicyclists are not at greater risk for future prostate problems such as prostatitis or prostate cancer. There have been reports of increased prostate-specific antigen (PSA) levels in men immediately after long-distance bike rides, but for most recreational bicyclists, this is not a concern."
As always, ask your OWN doctor.
(And yes, there are always recumbents.)

It's kinda like getting an STD off a toilet seat.... Within the realm of possibility I supose, but it'd be damned uncomfortable.

Just because this "conventional" non-expert wisdom is repeated so often, here's the actual answer.

Rather than the act of cycling, you’re more likely to get it from your plastic water bottles or your cycling clothes as these can contain Phthalates, Dimethylformamide, Nonylphenol ethoxylates, and Nonylphenols all of which are endocrine disrupters linked to reproductive problems and testicular cancer. Might also be responsible for why sperm counts have been decreasing for the past several decades.

If I come home with an e-assist bike prior to turning 70, she is merely to put me in a nursing home and divorce me.

Recently one of the mods slapped back at a budding troll by deleting his gratuitous posts and making him start over.

We do that. If I wanted to get to 10 posts, I would be in here responding to comments. Not sure what's up with some people. Some of the comments in here are pretty close to direct insults, which are against forum rules.

If the mods aren't going to deal with it, then direct insults seem like a perfectly reasonable response.

I respectfully suggest that you go ahead and close this. OP has disappeared, there's nothing constructive to be added and OP's purpose in initiating it has always been suspect. JMO, thanks.
