BMC vs Canyon

Hey all,

I just finished up my first IM in Louisville (what an absolute mess), and I borrowed a mentor's QR PR6 size 54cm.

I'm currently in the market for a new TT bike and are torn between a BMC timemachine or a Canyon CF 7.0. Both right in the same range for pricing. I was curious to know if anyone had either, pros/cons, maintenance (specifically for the Canyons because they are new to the US).

Just looking for any words of advice y'all might have!

Background on my biking: New to biking. Started biking 8 months prior to IMLou. FTP around 215. 25 years old, 165 lbs. Fairly flexible and willing to stay down aero.

Thanks!

Canyon sells direct, (like bikes direct), so you had better be an advanced bike mechanic..with tools..

got a BMC Dealer near you? they will be there to help you after the sale.
