1964 Bianchi Specialissima

** It’s off to EBay at this point. Thanks for looking! **

It is definitely time for me to thin the herd!
1964 Bianchi Specialissima with a 54 cm frame. Early Campagnolo Record group. 151 bcd crank, Universal Model 61 centerpull brakes with original hoods, 3ttt bars and stem.
The sew up tires hold air, but should be replaced before serious miles occur. The rear rim has one significant gouge on the braking surface, but I haven’t noticed it while riding.
This is not a garage queen, and has a few scrapes and scratches as you’d expect a 50+ year old bicycle to have. Fresh grease in all of the bearings. This bike does not come with the down tube bottle cage that shows in the photos. Thanks!

Great bike at a reasonable price. It shouldn't last long (too small for me :-) )

Interested. Do you have any closer pictures of the down tube decals?

Wow. I love that this isn't Celeste. Seems like a fair price too. Thank goodness it's not one size bigger.

The blue definitely isn’t the most common color for these bikes. I get the impression that all of the other colors these bikes were offered in ran a very distant second to the numbers produced in Celeste. The Celeste color with chrome lugs is a classic combination, for sure!

Imagine if it were your size AND just a few miles away . . .
It's killing me. I saw it on Craigslist and thought it was sold, but now it's here on Bike Forums. Sigh . . . just don't have the cash right now.

GLWS!

Just putting it to the top! A very respectable price as well.

What a beaut, my '64 is missing the headset locknut, if you have a spare...

Rainy evening bump

Price drop before it goes to EBay this weekend. I’d love to see this go to a Bike Forums member!

I can't believe this is still here. Have you tried the Facebook page Steel is Real, yet?

Its off to EBay, with all of their nonsense and seller risk. Thanks to all for considering this here!

Not only is 54 my size, but my Superleggara was only available as a 53 and a 56 when I bought mine (1987).

Good thing it isn't celeste.
