Too lazy to extract the image, but I'm in this shot with the Masters 30+ 4/5's: https://spotshotevents.smugmug.com/Sp...050_LtAEr-A-LB (up front coming up the climb the 2nd time)
Btw I've never seen so many 60+ cm frames in one race! Maybe my 55cm is just shrimpy..

Yikes. That's not an expression I see on my face very often! I hope I was attacking, or at least following a move that was just opening up.

Found a shot from the Tour of Walla Walla Waitsburg RR from a few weeks ago.
This was near the top of the 3k climb, check out the scenery! And check out those super-light juniors, putting the hurt on us 4's. (kid on the right in white won)
(source)
(I'm kind of at the back of that group on the left, peeking out and looking for more oxygen - I think this was the final lap on that climb the pack was shattered behind us)

My teammate Jonathan and I just before we caught the final guy in the break on the last lap...just behind the guy behind us is the rest of group including our three teammates who will set up our sprinter.

he was third in a 3/4 race that appeared to have the fastest pace of any field including the 123.
probably helped that there were a bunch of canadians who could pick and choose which field to race in.

Making a kilometer blurry
The leadout: sprinter is two wheels back. Finish is in 1300m. This move took 60 people out of the race

You say that like there's only one. It depends on where the chopper is. Racer Ex sent it and the crew back early from Gila.
Srsly, I think it's just that there aren't too many Cat 3 squads around here riding like a squad. You see us on the front and off the front more often because we are, and with a purpose. Having our team controlling the front of the race for the final two miles helps a lot too. More and better pictures.
