yeah, and had he accidently hit and killed the cyclist, it could be misdemeanor death by motor vehicle or negligent homicide.

In all fairness, if this was a truly a road rage incident resulting from a cyclist being cut off by a cab crossing the bike lane it does belong here. It's a cautionary tale of what happens when people's sense of entitlement to exclusive use of public pavement runs amok.

It's the mirror image of all those stories posted here (that nobody whine's about) where a driver assaults a cyclist for intruding on "his" roadway.

What's sauce for the goose, is sauce for the gander.

Wow. Those raging spokers are homicidal lunatics! This shooting has made me think again about driving. It's just not worth it when you could be shot for simply driving your car. It's just not safe out there. I think I'm going to park the car for a while and use other modes.

I can fix that and get this put into P&R fast.

Road rage and guns don't mix

Sorry but i was having a bad day. I promise not to shoot anymore motorists in the neck, this week...

Speaking as some one that grew up down here in south FL, I'm not at all shocked or bothered. When i was a teen there was a homeless guy shot in my neighborhood. Over a slice of pizza of all things.

He is no cyclist. It's some POS low life thug riding a POS bike because he was too poor to buy a car for transportation. I don't label them or include this scumbags in the cycling community

I didn't see anything wrong with the news report. It was a typical shooting incident report, and made no effort at analysis. It left that to folk here on BF.
