Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Vikings, too.

We haven't even reached the SB in ages, though - we're on a cycle of gut-wrenching NFC championship losses every 10 years or so. Every Vikings fan my age or older knows heartache with the mention of: Darrin Nelson's drop, Gary Anderson's miss, Favre's interception. Honestly, the no-show in Philly a couple years ago was less painful than the rest.

I've had four half-slices of pie; two at each family gathering.

Not that I'm aware of.

Choke does the job to get it started, but once it's started, partial choke will kill it.

Yes.
If no air filter, what is covering the carb's throat?

Fun fact: Obviously, they don’t celebrate American Thanksgiving in Spain...but they DO have “Black Friday” sales. There are signs for the sales everywhere.

Today is our last full day here. We return to USA on Saturday.

When did the thread start date appear in the forum front page? I just noticed this. Wasn't this something the great unwashed masses have been clamoring for? Perhaps is in order.

Yesterday was a trip . . . and not in an ideal way. We had planned on having 10 guests but due to illness of the essential guest, my 2 yo grandson, almost everyone else canceled. So instead of 10 guests we only had 2. There’s going to be a lot of leftovers for awhile.

The mod squad had to fight tooth & nail to get that feature back, it's very useful, it should never have been ditched.

Indeed.
