Just some VERY minor scraping on my right shoulder and left ass cheek, but the cheek is bruised. Then a swollen right index finger with a cut on the knuckle.

Went out for the first time this year. Rode from Michigan & 13th up the LFP five miles and back dodging the waves. I'm a transplanted Floridian two years into Chicago; this was my first ride below 50 degrees and it went very well...temperature-wise. Conditioning sux; the sustained 30 mph winds weren't fun. Regardless, it was great to get out again.

33 miles into the heavy humidity that also caused a rain delay at the Indian's opener. At least the winds were only 15 mph or so and not the 22 mph as predicted.

Nice day, even though the temps were a bit nippy, even later in the day (as that is when we rode), still we got in 71 miles! Wish the wind would settle down one of these days!!!!

100.07 on Saturday, the first 42 going into a brutal headwind. Brutal because it was 1) in my face, 2) 15-20mph, and 3) too much for my current conditioning. The tailwind stretch was fun.
Rest day today.
