Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Weird aside - Been tracking my history through Ancestory off and on for about 10 years. My mother recently passed so it charged me up to run through stuff with dad while he is still here. Always believed I was about 1/2 English and 1/2 German with the German being the most recent to come to the US (Mid to late 1800's).

Turns out we about 25/75 and I have traced all ends on both sides of the family down through the early 1700's and some even beyond but all within the US except for my Maternal Great Grandfather who was off the boat from Germany. I'm WAY more "American" than even I thought I was. They were almost all farmers as well.

...but yeah I just don't like tubeless for a ton of applications. Ride it on gravel still though...

Just imagine how much more lush it would be with tubeless LOL.

Damn man, that's a short list that came before my ancestors.

Killer ride! I'm not a disc brake fan (rim brakes work fine for me), but the bike looks so much cleaner without the brake calipers on the frame!
