When the best chain lube is none!
This chain was degreased and "installed" 6 months ago. It has never been lubed. Performance has not suffered one bit, in fact, I believe it looks better now! *

How did you attach the chain to the post? Did you drill small holes for the nails? The chain's steel must be quite hard. Otherwise very cool!

You won't shift right with a chain like that. Someone might skip over your house because you are running an 8 speed chain on a 339 speed house.

I like that. I recently replaced the house numbers on our facia.
But I’m not sure the boss would have approved of using my old bike chain.

Nail through a couple links with the pin pushed out. I also had to go through each link and "tighten" it with the breaker tool so chain would hold shape.
