Semi NBD
I may have posted the original bike before but it wasn't perfect so it was sent back to the builder for a rebuild. This is the new bike.
Winter Cycles with hand carved lugs, custom stem
Paint by Todd the Painter, same colour as my car Ruby Red with the logos done in gold leaf.
XTR disc brakes
White Industries crankset and bottom bracket
Phil Wood 1" headset
White Industries pedals and Bruce Gordon half clips
Dura Ace front and rear derailleur (11 speed)
Dura Ace bar end shifters on Paul Thumbies
Dura Ace cassette
King cages
Nitto Jitensha bars
Spur Cycle bell
Stan's Crest CB7 carbon rims painted black built on White Industries CLB hubs.
Rene Herse Babyshoe extra lights
Nitto Crystal seatpost
Specialized Avatar saddle
Things to do: change out the pedals to XTR 9100
Replace tires with Grand Bois Ecurell tires (38 mm) and 133 grams lighter per tire.
Cut the original fork to fit the stem as intended.
It has only been ridden around my parking garage, so I can't give a ride report.
This next statement is not bragging, in fact I am a little embarrassed but I am sure some of you want to know the price. The bike was a little over $10,000 US when all was said and done.

What was wrong with the frame the first time around?
Nice detail on the lug cutouts. What gearing range do you have on it?

The first frame was too big. It is a long and convoluted story but in the end I got a new frame.
As for gearing it has a 42/28 front and a 11-28 rear. The bike was designed for rides in the city but not meant to be left anywhere and locked. It is my fast city bike, with my Rivendell as my slow city bike.

Bikes: An old orange one for dirt, and for the other stuff: a white one, a kinda mint green one, and a black one.

"This bike is superb." I said, holding the Mac up so she could see. "I don't imagine myself riding it, or anything. It's just perfect to look at."
"Okay." She said.
I think it's rad.
