Max size is 60, but the top tube is 5mm longer than Calfee's 62

I also agree with your followup statement to this quoted one. What does that have to do with anything indeed....

The last ride of the year is always super casual - plain clothes and commuter/utility bikes, no sprints, pacelines or anything like that. As far as the crash itself, we were riding two-up, chatting with the person next to us. I heard a "whoa whoa whoa!" from one of the other guys, looked up and saw squirrely guy at the front, leaning a shoulder in to the guy he was riding beside, going down shortly thereafter (I was surprised that only one other guy went down). Afterwards, the guy that called out the "whoa, whoa, whoa!" said that squirrely had drifted over and found himself close to the centerline and, in correcting, came back to the right too far and too fast.
Yeah, he's very close! We're supposed to be in the 40s in the coming days, but I'm not getting my hopes up too much.

The reason why the Calfee is attractive is that the geometry is nearly same as my Habanero, which fits me perfectly because custom geometry.
For now I will just “follow” the listing. Nowhere near buying at that price. But if seller wants to practically give it away (recall Crazy Eddie?) I would certainly get it.

It's "designed" by a contact in USA but is actually welded in China. They make only Titanium frames. I had wanted custom Ti from a USA framebuilder but they were asking $4k just for the frame, while Habanero did it for 1195. That was 12 years ago, I expect prices are higher both for USA and Habanero today.

(Pardon the sacrilege, but I think that those damn off-road guys in my club are starting to get to me...)
A Ti 29er frame for $1k sounds purty nice, too
