Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

The way I see it, being a Di2 bike, it would force datlas to make the switch.

I also agree with your followup statement to this quoted one. What does that have to do with anything indeed....

Yeah, he's very close! We're supposed to be in the 40s in the coming days, but I'm not getting my hopes up too much.
He’s in the process of selling, actually had a developer that was going to turn his plot into condos but got spooked after the Floyd protests. Real good dude for a runner

It says top tube is 56. I could ride that but 56 might be a bit short, idk.
The blue is about the same as my Tesch.

Weird. Custom? Geometry has changed since that eBay bike was made?
The site says 60cm TT on the 62

It says Tesch geometry so it would be custom but I don't know how much of Tesch's geometry they used. The one I have is a different model but he built his frames in the "crit bike" style with short wheelbase, steep angles, and mine is the stiffest bike I've ever ridden. The plus side is the handling, it's magical. I don't even have to think about turning or avoiding a rock or something in the road. The bad part is the brutal, bone jarring ride. A friend of mine has it and he cruises around the coast on it. He's 250 pounds and it works for him.

The reason why the Calfee is attractive is that the geometry is nearly same as my Habanero, which fits me perfectly because custom geometry.

For now I will just “follow” the listing. Nowhere near buying at that price. But if seller wants to practically give it away (recall Crazy Eddie?) I would certainly get it.

It's "designed" by a contact in USA but is actually welded in China. They make only Titanium frames. I had wanted custom Ti from a USA framebuilder but they were asking $4k just for the frame, while Habanero did it for 1195. That was 12 years ago, I expect prices are higher both for USA and Habanero today.

(Pardon the sacrilege, but I think that those damn off-road guys in my club are starting to get to me...)

A Ti 29er frame for $1k sounds purty nice, too
