Wahoo Kickr stock 11 speed 11-28 cassette
My bike has an 11-34 cassette. Will my chain work on the stock cassette without adjustment?

You'll be fine. It is as if you never use any gear larger than the 28 on your bike.

The only problem may be if your current 11x34 cassette and chain have been used together for many miles. The old chain could mesh poorly with the new cassette under a lot of load. Probably worth the modest cost to get a new chain with a quick link and dedicate it to the trainer.

You may have to adjust a click or 2 on the barrel adjuster. That's quite "normal" due to slight manf. tolerance between different cassettes.

I've been through all this already and even with the non-compatible Campy 10 13-29 and Shimano 10 11-25 I made it work so that it is just a quick wheel swap. With compatible systems it should be a piece of cake (yum, cake) to get it to work with just a wheel swap.

......No you shouldn't. If you need to adjust the cable, your trainer cassette isn't positioned properly. Add or subtract spacers at the back of the cassette so that it matches alignment on the small cog between wheel and trainer. Again, if I had to make adjustments to use the trainer I'd be sitting on the couch instead......
Apparently, that concept is too much for you?
Adding spacers to the back of the cassette when a click or 2 on the barrel adjuster does the same thing is so stupid you make my ignore list.

Yes, and why do you think they supply spacers with trainers? And fixing something permanently is not a better idea than adjusting something every time you use it? There is a very definitive spec for all of the speeds, wheels, hubs, freehubs, etc.. so you don't ever NEED to make adjustments. That's what standards are about. The main problem with trainers is that they need to accommodate the different systems and they do that with spacers. Get the right spacer and there are no problems. And it is not "normal". The tolerances on the cassettes are really tight otherwise indexing wouldn't work.
