Here’s my road bike. It’s kinda plain. It’s over 20 lbs. I have to glue my tires on. It also got me back into riding, and I love it.
One day, when this bike starts holding me back on rides, I’ll get a carbon bike. Till then, I have some carbon bars.
edit: front brake cable housing was too short here, and has since been corrected.

Finally arrived.
My Ribble endurance Ti. Full ultegra
Have not rode it yet. Just threw it together this am.
And have some minor issues with Ribble to iron out before my first ride. Have not made any adjustments yet.
6 months + to get it to Texas.

The radical upward tilt of the bars and levers has me nauseous. The saddle tilt may be an artifact of the photo. Please let us know your first ride impressions. Besides my quibbles, it looks to be the potential schnizzle. Ride on!

Currently my only road bike is my '87 Cilo, w/ all original Shimano 600. Constantly trolling for a '99-'02 Cannondale R800 or R1000 though.

What do you use to keep the shine? Be a shame to let that lose its lustre. On my brushed finished Ti frame, I use Boeshield T-9. It's actually a lube but if you spray it on and let it dry, it really protects the finish and shines up.

Personnel road bike - 1983 Schwinn Paramount.
Schwinn Paramount 1983 - Campy Record Groupo Carbon 10 Spd with a Triple front DR 26/40/50. The 26 is a French replacement for the 30 for the local Mts in Boulder, CO. Had the original lime green paint stripped and a Flame (R/O/Y) paint job done by Richard Schwinn at Waterford Bikes about 10 years ago. I ride Gravel, as well as, asphalt by changing the wheels with Continental Contact 28 tires (with tread).

Just built this 2000s (unknown date) Serotta Legend completely off parts from another (failed) build. Probably wouldn't have gone with as much black but that's what I had on hand. Picked up the frame from TPC and luckily the prior owner had already shaved down the quill adapter stem to a normal height.
Full Ultegra build, random other bits picked up off eBay.
Sadly living in Minnesota means that winter is here but my few test rides (still not dialed in) up and down the street were absolutely glorious (coming from a mostly aluminum frame). Very excited for next year and spring riding.

I’m digging your Serotta except for the handlebars. Next spring, after you’ve taken it through its proper paces, I hope you will update us on your ride impressions. You mentioned that you are coming off an Al frame. Mind if I ask what frame that was?
