Force etap 1x to 2x conversion?
Am I right to assume that to convert SRAM AXS 1x to 2x I only have to change the front derailleur and the crank? I can’t find the exact answer on the SRAM site.

You have a front derailleur on your 1x bike?
I will think you have to add a front derailleur. Never having looked closely at a bike made expressly for 1x, then you might need to consider if they have a mount for a front derailleur or can you find a clamp to make one work on what ever shaped seat tube you have.
And, you need a front shifter as well as the crankset for 2x. Possibly new bb and likely new chain. Oh shift cables too. What else have I forgot?

Shifter too, yes I missed that, thank you!
What I was trying to do is get creative on buying a new groupset at a good price. There is a killer 1x deal on Performance and I was thinking that just a derailleur add would still make it a good deal. But with a shifter not so much.
