[Gates transmission] Real difference Alfine/Nexus?

Hello,

Gates sells two different cogs, one for Alfine gear hubs, and the other for Nexus hubs.

I notice that the only difference for 22T cogs is the "Web Offset from Flange", which is thicker for Alfine.

Does it mean that when using an Alfine cog with a Nexus hub, the "chainline" will be wrong, and it'd be a bad idea to mix and match?

Thank you.
