Help with Aluminum Road Frame Search
Hey Everyone,
On my initial internet search, I am struggling to find an aluminum frame that meets these criteria:
1_Reputable maker
2_Caliper Brake
3_Small size (51 or 52 cm)
4_Just frame and fork
5_Light-ish (light enough...)
I can find plenty of full builds, but not many frames. Any pointing in the right direction would be super helpful. I also plan to reach out to Trek, Specialized, and Canton.

Does it need to be new? If not, then sit on ebay for 4 hours and look using a bunch of different key words. Even if it needs to be new, I would try ebay since new frames are sold there.

What did you like/dislike about the Kinesis Aithein Evo? Any feedback would be much appreciated. I've been eyeing the Aithein disc frameset to replace the SBC 7005 I had built up a couple months ago.

No one does AL better than Cannondale. Although I watched a video with the founder of Bowman and was impressed. I bought a Cannondale CAAD 12 two years ago and it as good as any bike I've owned in 40 yrs of cycling.

The problem with CAAD 12's and 11's, and 10's to a less extent, is their tubes are *so* thin that small hits to them dent them. I was looking for a used CAAD 11/12 a year 1/2 ago and ever one I looked at had a top-tube dent. Most from where the handle bar would hit it.
