Australia is probably different from Illinois, in terms of the way typical ebay transactions are handled.

That reminds me: I meant to add just that. If the seller is SO paranoid about people coming to their house, and the buyer really doesn't wanna pay postage, then I figure they should meet at the buyer's house or a neutral location.

However, having said that, the conditions are usually spelled out on the add, so I don't have to bid if I don't wanna comply.
But still.....

Also on eBay this week: Colnago C35 Ferrari 24 Carat Gold Edition with Campagnolo Record Mint Condition | eBay

I think $35,000 might actually be a decent price for something like this, since it's a Colnago AND a Ferrari. AND full carbon. AND gold plated. AND limited edition...

[h=2]Gorgeous Orange 1972 Schwinn Varsity - $300 (Forest Lake, MN)[/h]Gorgeous Orange 1972 Schwinn Varsity

"I'm firm on price because I am attached to this bike. You would be too if it was yours, and for $300, you can be attached to it and call it your own.

Logos are hand-painted on by a professional pinstripe artist (not me!).This thing is legit and makes hipsters drool, but puts you on a higher level than them because you will keep it real, keep it clean, and get a lot of attention for just straight up having the coolest bike in town.

Bike also comes with a very interesting back story from the guy I bought it from, which just adds to the talk-ability this baby brings.

As for height, I am 5'10" and it is just barely tall on me. I would recommend it for anyone between 5'9" and 6'2". Could throw in some LED headlights and taillights, if needed. Also, have an extra seat faux leather (light brown).

Text me if you want to chat about it."

Just imagine being cornered by this guy at a party: "LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT MY VARSITY!"

I also chuckle at the idea of 27 foot wheels.

Trek 1400 *
Badfinger Trek 720*
This guy has a way with words. Check out the Condition in the upper right hand corner of both.
I believe he had the 720 listed at $494 a few weeks ago.

Drool inducing condition, mechanically and cosmetically. Everything works properly and it's clean, like-new.
No muck, no yuck, no grime, nor rust. Sheldon won't need his bus pants for this ride.

Tired of greedy sellers?

Looking for a good used road bike at a fair price and your size is frustrating isn't it? Damn near impossible. And then you have to worry about if the bike you want (if you can even get hold of the seller that is.) isn't a stolen bike. Also what if its a setup to rob you?

Well I'm here to tell you that for what these greedy sellers are asking for for a decent road bike can get you a new one when you order a BIKE DIRECTly on line.

I did and not only did I get a decent bike for only a few hundred dollars but it's a brand new bike thats my size!

I'm talking about road bikes. Even the old vintage road bikes here are too expensive.
But if it's a good mtn or hybrid bike youre looking for then CL is the way to go.
I don't know why folks are trying to sell these old roadbikes for so much. I mean lugs are nice but get real boys!
