Nice deltoids.

Obviously many miles holding the melon up while in the drops.

Mine were huge after ten years of commuting.

I had to google that.

I make a point of doing some upper body (pushups, pullups) and ab work a couple times/week.

How can you see T-Monks Deltoid definition with his sleeves so loose?? And delts do nothing to help hold the head up as they are uppermost part of the arm/shoulder.

I think you mean his Trapezius, which assists with head stability, but is used more frequently for scapula support.

I was going to say all that this morning but didn't feel like typing it all out. Deltoids are built while raising the arms in front of and above your body. If anything, holding your weight up on your hands in the drops would build pecs and tris.

I meant Trapezius. Thanks for the correction.

Melon means head. I commuted for ten years and my traps were huge from "Holding my melon up."

Sorry for ruining your morning.

Off the front solo for 4.5 of the last 5 (0.7 mile) laps, hurting. Got caught right before the sprint, at least I gave it a go.

I need to work on getting lower when I'm really cranking like that - but the form tends to fall apart when fatigue sets in:

Wife says it looks like I have a mental problem. I think it's probably my favorite photo of me riding.

I'll be the first to admit a clipboard looks janky as hell on any bike, but it works. 62 miles of unmarked route required analog directions.
